May 2024 Visit us at MLSys in Santa Clara, CA
Hello everyone!
You know what they say, "there ain't no rest for the wicked".
What an incredible few weeks it’s been on my end! I've been hopping from AISTATS to ICLR, and now have landed in beautiful Santa Clara, California for the MLSys conference.
I'm absolutely excited to have our booth here at MLSys, and we'd love for you to stop by if you are attending. We’re here until Thursday evening!
Anyway, I wanted to extend my personal thanks to the organizers of these amazing conferences. Their effort to create spaces for us to learn, grow, and collaborate will surely pay off in dividends.
Between all of the fascinating discussions and presentations- it reminds me why I am so passionate about what I do at CoCalc (and why I love these communities).
Here's to exciting days ahead where we will continue taking collaboration to the forefront of computational science, and as always, I'm looking forward to connecting with many of you this week.
Hope to see you at our booth!
Sincerely, -Blaec Bejarano. Chief Sales Officer, CoCalc by SageMath, Inc.

May 2024 ICLR (International Conference on Learning Representations)
#ML #AIHi everyone!
We are so excited to be here at the International Conference on Learning Representations! The energy has honestly been electric so far! We at CoCalc were blown away by the incredible response to our platform, especially the compute server functionality. Folks were thrilled about accessing powerful GPUs and CPUs through Google Cloud and Hyperstack – it was like giving them the keys to the computational kingdom!
Of course, local compute setups still hold a special place in many hearts. Whether it's a trusty laptop, a powerful server, or a full-blown cluster, we understand the importance of flexibility. That's why CoCalc embraces both local and cloud compute options, allowing users to choose the perfect environment for their needs.
The enthusiasm and engagement from the ICLR community have been truly inspiring. It's amazing to see the research in this community and how CoCalc can empower researchers (and learners) to push the boundaries of machine learning. We're excited to be part of this journey and can't wait to see what incredible discoveries lie ahead!

Apr 2024 Startup Grind Conference in Redwood City, CA
eventstartupsHi everyone,
CoCalc will be in Silicon Valley this week for Startup Grind!
If you are unfamiliar with it, it is a fantastic community filled with founders and dreamers who want to make an impact on the enterprises they are most passionate about.
These folks ultimately want to create solutions that propel our society forward, many of which are born out of necessity. For those looking to connect with other startups and investors or simply exchange information on the "trials and tribulations" associated with growing a team or startup company, this is the place to be!
Our CSO, Blaec Bejarano, would love to connect with you personally if you are attending (or are located around Redwood City), so please reach out!
Our booth will be active in the startup tent on Tuesday, April 23rd, and Blaec's formal pitch will be at 11 a.m. PT on the Q&A stage.
Come find us (and wish us luck)!
